On out door pools Heatsavr works like a conventional solar blanket. Swimming pools are good collectors of solar radiation but without a solar cover much of the heat collected is lost again to atmosphere by evaporation. Heatsavr enables more of the solar energy collected to be retained, which means that an unheated pool will be naturally warmer, or with a heated pool heating costs will be significantly reduced.
